Mama and Me

Michael and I enjoyed a great morning of fresh carrot juice and building a fairy house under the tree in our courtyard. Michael found all sorts of great things to build with, twigs, sticks, leaves, rose quartz stones for the trail to the house and then he announced the fairies needed purple flowers to sleep on....sounds good to me, when do me move in?......Love.

In the Same Place

Georganne and Anne stopped by for a visit and it was wonderful. We were all so happy to be together. We celebrated Anne's birthday with homemade apple cobbler and rainbow angel candles and snuggled and talked and healed a lot. Georganne gave Michael a lesson in making her world famous scrambled eggs. We were also introduced to the movie Hairspray and loved it so much that we watched it twice. Of course George knew every word! Our hearts were so happy. After they left Michael let me know that we was going to get married to 3 people. Nana, Auntie Anne and Auntie Iris. Good taste Michael....Love...

Family Love In

What a great time. Matt and Bonnie brought Lucas to meet us, Lee flew in from Colorado and Carole from Kona. Michael got up early, dressed in his rainbow socks for the special occasion and waited for everyones arrival. He informed me that Lucas knew everything about being a baby. When everyone arrived he was in so happy and so were we. There was lots of love and gratitude to be together....We sent our love to Julie, Cheryl and Andrew across the miles..Love

The Healer is In

Michael loves Healing, he did a great job with Nana. She called him Dr. Michael and he said, no I am Michael. You will note that he shares his favorite blanket and Di-Di Dog for comfort..The vices on the toes must have been set to tune her merdians :). Nana felt much better after the treatment and felt the love was the very best part of the treatment......as always...Love

Born to Swim-The YMCA Rocks!

I am so grateful to be back in the pool. We have been swimming everynight at the new YMCA down the street from our house and it feels wonderful. We love the YMCA, all three of us head out after dinner for a dip. Michael is a little fish, he is diving in and swimming great. I love the look of pure joy on his face as he masters swimming farther and farther on his own. We usually end the swim-a-thon with Bourke showing us how far he can swim one breath. It's impressive. After swimming we shower and Michael heads home in his pajamas. Oftentimes, Mom goes with me and coaches me along the way as she has done with such love for many years. Everyone there loves her and says "Hi Mom" as she walks by.

There is a spirit there that I love, diversity, acceptance, love, hope and sharing. I saw this on the bullentin board today and it moved me, just what I needed to hear. Love..

Now I am the word....
I will LEAD, not follow
I will BELIEVE, not doubt
I will CREATE, not destroy
I am the ONE for GOOD
I am a LEADER
I defy the ODDS
I set the NEW STANDARD
Step-Up, Step-Up, Step-Up

Learning-

I learn to speak by speaking, to study by studying, to run by running, to work by working; in just the same way, I learn to love by loving. ---Sainte Francis de Sales.

This is to Michael as we begin our homeschooling together. You are so loved.................

Nevada Caucas

Saturday was great, we all participated in the first Caucas in the State of Nevada. It was great to be a part of history in this way. We wore our ONE t-shirts to bring a conciousness to end worldwide poverty and disease. It was a family day to make a stand to support our beautiful country to have a much brighter future. Thanks Nana for a great post-caucas lunch! Please plan to vote, you will make a difference! Love.....

California Dream'n

We had a wonderful trip to visit Brian, Alicia and Gracie. Four days of Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy left me feeling so much better and the good company really warmed our hearts.
The highlight was watching Grace and Michael race their cars together. Bourke fit Michael's car in the back of the Rover and we brought it down to San Marcos.
Of course we visited our beloved Old Town for some awesome Mexican Food and to watching angels dance in the street-literally two people got up from their table put on their feathery wings and started helping people parallel park and then skipped thru the street handing out flyers of some kind-I simply adore the spirit of my home state!
We also enjoyed watching the gorgeous sunsets over the Pacific, once from the mountain tops and then at the magnificent Moonlight Beach. What a blest way to start the New Year! Love....

Happy New Year 2008!

To Wonder at beauty
Stand guard over truth
Look up to the noble,
Resolve on the good
This lead us truly
To purpose in living,
To right in our doing,
To peace in our feeling,
To light in our thinking.
And teaches us trust,
In the guidance of God,
In all that there is,
In the width of the world,
In the depth of the soul.

2007 Our Year

This has been a year! Joys, challenges, adventure, loss, sharing, celebration and love. It was great to see so many of our beloved ones and spend time together. As we stay farewell to 2007 and take a look, I realize that it 2007 was a year of great growth. We really lived this year and have so much to be grateful for. To me, Samson lead the way showing us that courage and love go hand and hand-paw to paw, to never give up and to always remember that LOVE IS EVERYTHING. Thank you Samson, we will not forget this.

From the wall of Dr Lobsan of the Tibetan Academy, I love this...................

Never Give Up
No matter what is going on
Never give up
Develop the heart
Too much energy in your country
Is spent developing the mind
Instead develop the heart
Develop the heart.
Be compassionate
Not just to your friends
But to everyone
Be compassionate
Work for peace
In your heart and in the world
Work for peace
And I say again
Never give up
No matter what is happening
No matter what is going on around you
Never give up.

A Quiet Time with Dear Friends!

Cathie, Peg and Ariana flew in from Seattle for an action packed, love-in on December 26th. Ariana and Michael had a great time, playing pirates at the park, baking cookies, taking bubble baths and making kool-aid playdough! After they were asleep we enjoyed sitting around the candlelit table which was filled with silence and laughter and it was wonderful. simply wonderful. Love..................

Merry Christmas!

Christmas morning is magical. We all were in the spirit and loved the great energy in the air. Michael received his first lesson as Christmas Elf under the expert guidance of Nana! We started the day cooking a yummy brunch and opening presents. The high point was Michael taking his race car for a spin in the front yard! Then it was nap time and then a delicious Christmas dinner at Nana's. Heavenly and filled with gratitude. Love.........
